비투엔이 EDB코리아, 오두(Odoo)와 함께 기업의 핵심 IT 자산을 오픈소스 기반으로 전환하는 ‘오픈소스 트랜스포메이션(OX)’ 사업을 공동 추진하기 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했습니다.

 

이번 협약은 공공, 금융, 제조 전반에서 특정 상용 벤더에 대한 종속을 탈피하고 데이터 주도권을 되찾으려는 수요가 늘어남에 따라 마련되었습니다.

'OX'는 단순한 솔루션 교체가 아니라 데이터베이스, 애플리케이션, AI 영역을 오픈소스 기반으로 통합 전환하는 전략적 접근을 의미합니다.

이를 위해 3사는 단일 협력 체계 안에서 각자의 전문성을 결합한 풀스택 오픈소스 전환 경로를 제공합니다.

- 비투엔 (AI·데이터): 온톨로지 기반의 전환 컨설팅, 데이터 표준화·이행, AI 활용 설계 및 구축·운영 총괄

 

- EDB (데이터베이스): 엔터프라이즈급 오픈소스 포스트그레스 기반으로 상용 DB, 가상화, 클라우드 등의 벤더 종속 해소 및 데이터 영역 현대화

 

- 오두 (애플리케이션): 단일 플랫폼에서 통합 업무 모듈을 제공하는 오픈소스 ERP를 통해 유연하고 비용 효율적인 앱 계층 전환 지원

앞으로 3사는 산업별 OX 전환 레퍼런스 아키텍처 개발과 기술 검증(PoC), 공동 마케팅 및 세미나, 전환 방법론 연구 등을 함께 진행하며 국내 기업들의 안정적인 오픈소스 전환 여정을 지원할 계획입니다.

📢 B2EN Signs MOU with EDB Korea and Odoo to Jointly Drive 'Open-Source Transformation (OX)'

 

B2EN has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EDB Korea and open-source integrated ERP provider Odoo to jointly drive 'Open-Source Transformation (OX)'—a strategic initiative to transition corporate core IT assets to open-source-based architecture.

 

This partnership comes in response to growing demand across the public, financial, and manufacturing sectors to break free from proprietary vendor lock-in and regain control over corporate data.

'OX' is not a mere replacement of individual solutions; it represents a strategic approach to comprehensively integrating and transforming databases, applications, and AI domains based on open-source technologies.

To achieve this, the three companies will offer a full-stack open-source migration pathway within a unified cooperation ecosystem, combining their respective expertise:

- B2EN [AI & Data]: Directing the entire migration journey, from ontology-based transformation consulting and data standardization/migration to AI-utilization design, implementation, and operations.

 

- EDB [Database]: Modernizing data domains and eliminating lock-ins across proprietary databases, virtualization, and cloud environments based on enterprise-grade open-source Postgres.

 

- Odoo [Application]: Supporting flexible and cost-effective application layer migration through an open-source ERP that offers integrated business modules on a single platform.

Moving forward, the three companies plan to support domestic enterprises on a stable and proven open-source transformation journey by co-developing industry-specific OX reference architectures, conducting Proof of Concepts (PoCs), hosting joint marketing and seminars, and researching transformation methodologies.
